Qantas Hotels Triple Points (9 pts/$) — live now

Qantas has switched on a Triple Points promotion for hotel bookings. Book eligible stays via Qantas Hotels between 12:01am AEST Wed 10 September 2025 and 11:59pm AEST Tue 16 September 2025, and you’ll earn 9 Qantas Points per A$1 on the accommodation cost. Travel can take place up to 16 September 2026.
At a glance
Earn rate: 9 pts per A$1 on eligible hotel bookings made during the promo window, for stays up to 16 September 2026. Points post within ~8 weeks after checkout.
Points Club uplift: Points Club +25% and Points Club Plus +50% “more Qantas Points” still apply during this offer.
Qantas Business Rewards (QBR): Book through a QBR Business Account and the combined earn becomes 12 pts per A$1 (made up of 9 pts/$ to the traveller + 3 pts/$ to the business).
Exclusions: Airbnb, Qantas Tours and Fly & Stay packages are excluded from the Triple Points hotel earn.
Accor exception: Accor hotel offers don’t receive “triple”; instead, they earn 9 pts per A$1 during this campaign (vs the usual 4 pts/$ outside promos).
How stacking works (with a quick example)
Traveller earn: At 9 pts/$, a $600 eligible booking earns 5,400 Qantas Points for the traveller.
Points Club uplift: Per Qantas, Points Club members “earn 25% more Qantas Points” and Points Club Plus “50% more.” Using the same $600 example at 9 pts/$, Points Club adds +1,350 (total 6,750), and Points Club Plus adds +2,700 (total 8,100).
Business earn: If the booking is placed via a QBR Business Account, the business also collects +3 pts/$ (i.e., +1,800 on a $600 booking), taking the combined traveller + business total to 8,550 (PC) or 9,900 (PC+) in the example above.
Note: Qantas states hotel points credit within ~8 weeks after checkout. (Business earn is accounted for separately under QBR.)
What’s eligible (and what’s not)
Eligible: Hotel bookings made at qantas.com/hotels during the promo dates. You must enter the traveller’s Qantas Frequent Flyer number at booking. Qantas also notes you can earn on the credit/debit card component when using Points Plus Pay (and on the card component when paying with a voucher).
Not eligible for Triple Points: Airbnb, Qantas Tours, and Fly & Stay packages. Accor offers earn 9 pts/$ (not 12). Cancelled, amended or refunded bookings won’t earn points, and points can’t be split across multiple members for the same room.
Useful fine print
Posting timeline: Points are credited within 8 weeks after hotel checkout.
Payment type: You earn on cash/credit spend and the cash component of Points Plus Pay (not on incidentals paid to the hotel).
Program basics: Base earn outside promos is 3 pts/$ across a network of 500,000+ hotels; Points Club/PC+ uplifts apply per Qantas’ terms.
Quick booking checklist
Log in and book via qantas.com/hotels within 10–16 Sept 2025 (AEST); ensure the traveller’s FF number is in the booking.
If you’re a business, book through your QBR Business Account to capture the +3 pts/$ business earn (12 pts/$ combined).
Avoid exclusions: Don’t expect the Triple earn on Airbnb, Qantas Tours or Fly & Stay; Accor offers sit at 9 pts/$.
Expect a delay: Allow up to ~8 weeks after checkout for points to land.
